How likely could it be that an ultra sound done at 6 weeks could be off by an entire month?

allioop - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Unlikely. Usually they can vary by a few days or two, but a full month is unlikely. The development of a fetus changes drastically by the day in the first trimester so a full month of changes would be very noticeable!

carmendayle - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had my vaginal ultrasound at 7 weeks, and they thought I was further along. And now my date was set back by almost a full month. From july 17th I think to August 4th. And now every other ultrasound is right on with the 1st one. I hope this helps... Good luck

sarahbrockman - 89 days ago Thanks for all of your replys! This just reassured what I already thought.

sarahann - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The earlier a scan is done, the more accurate it is as far as dates are concerned. So the earlier a scan is done, the more accurate it is at working out the due date and fetal age. Hope this helps?

kater - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) no chance. at this stage of development, bub changes so much on a daily basis, the bub is hugely different in both size and development there is really no chance it could be wrong

Holly28 - 89 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) its VERY unlikely the difference between 6 weeks and 10 weeks is too big.
