Sold avon didnt make anything ~ tastefully simple is the way to go (loved selling it, made $ and joining back up soon) ~ when choosing a consulting career you need to choose one that people will enjoy going to often! Food sells not only incredibly (the products are the BEST) but they are products that will bring in repeat customers many many times! I am also an illustrator and do well with my work. Ebay is also great for selling too if you know the ins and outs of it :)

I found ChaCha.com a convent way to make a little extra cash. This is an actual employment, your have to fill out tax papers and everything. You get paid per text answer $.20. Averaging $4-7.5/hr. Feel free to use me as a reference justinandrhiannon@hotmail.com.

You know, given your profile, I would advertise that you could teach American Sign Language to people. There is almost always someone who would like to learn. And you could market "crash courses" in the basics to ambulance and rescue squads locally who might benefit from having a few key phrases under their belts for dealing with hearing-impaired patients. I live in Rochester, NY, which is the home to the National Institute for the Deaf, so I speak from experience. As an EMT of many years, I found that I really wanted to have more sign language skills to help my patients with. Some of my fellow EMTs and I took a class with an instructor who was totally deaf, which made it a challenging class, but we learned quickly! She had prepared lots of handouts in advance to help explain what she would be doing in the class, and used a whiteboard to write things out to explain what she was showing us. We had a ball and learned loads, and she made good money teaching the class. It's something you can do sitting down while pregnant, and isn't physically demanding. I always say to capitalize on skills that you already have; you're already a great communicator, and your signing skills could be much in demand.

I make some money selling stuff on Ebay once in awhile. If you list it... usually someone will buy it.
