What am i experiencing?

Hi ladies! I`m 24 weeks and 5 days prego with my first and i have a no idea what i`m feeling. A couple nights ago i was fast asleep when suddenly i was awakened by a sharp shooting pain in my lower back that shot around my lower belly area. What does that sound like to everyone? Is it a braxton hicks contraction, a real contraction, or just growing pains/cramping? All i kno is that it really hurt. Great thing was that it only lasted a few mins. and it hasn`t returned since. I appreciate ur help ladies as i kno nothing. lol!

babyduche - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It sounded like the pains I had and the dr said it was ligament pains because if you're like me I never had a belly before and I got big every which way.

julianna - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You michg have turned wron in your sleep. Braxton hicks is more of a "tighteing" feeling, like someone is squishing you. Real contractions should not start off as sharp pain. It may just be a ligament that got pulled.....that is what it sounds like to me
