Spike - 50 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) talk to her doc about changing formulas. that worked with my son. apart from that is your baby will take it warm sterile water in a bottle is good to have as an extra source of water before or after her nomal feeds

rsum - 51 days ago my baby is a month old today. She st5rains when trying to poop. she did finally poop last night, a big load. she still seems to be stressing all the time when trying to poop. I did give her one bottle of water this morning and it seem to calm her down. I'll wait and see how she is later today and tonight.

mummychell - 51 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) give small amounts of boiled water my son was always getting constipated as a baby and we found it helped him alot if no luck try the doctor there are thngs they can have thet will help

Debra - 51 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you can give small amounts of water- like 1-3 oz only! I wouldn't worry about it though unless its been a few days. As they grow older, pooping becomes more rare, even in bottle fed babies. Avoid giving juice unless its 100% pure fruit juice and then it needs to be diluted- ie. 1/2 oz juice to 5 oz water. Do not give babies juice if they are under 4 months of age. and in fact, avoid giving your child juice at all. Juice contains no nutrients. If baby is 4 months old and has lost his/her tongue thrust, you can give baby a tsp of prunes. Don't give laxatives to your baby, even if doctor recommends it.

boymom - 51 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) How old is your baby? I have given my babies about 4 oz apple juice diluted in half with boiled water and that loosens things rght up - but not until they were 4 months old. I would talk to you dr for ideas for a younger baby. Many babies go days w/o any poo. As long as the baby isn't straining and crying, it should be fine and you will just have a really big mess to clean up one day :)

ibaheir2dathrone - 51 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Apple Juice cleaned my little one's clocks!!

moms the word - 51 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My pediatrician told me to put a teaspoon of dark karo syrup in with formula for a feeding to help things move along. I never gave my baby water until she was six months old and then only purified water.

spencerbaby1 - 51 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you can give babies water, but they suggest boiling it first to kill any bacteria, or use bottled water.

rsum - 51 days ago I tought you could not give babies water???

aulrobbri - 51 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) more water

babyduche - 51 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Let's see you can get Karo Syrup, it worked wonders on my daughter when she would be constipated. 1tb with 4oz of water in a bottle and let the baby drink it and also, give the baby more water also because the baby might be a little bit dehydrated and can't past bowels as easily.
