So I searched the hospital that i plan on delivering at...and the dates they have for childbirth classes i will either be weeks 29-32 or weeks 34-37. They are exactly 3 weeks long. I was wondering when is the best of the two options to take classes? 29-32 or 34-37?

mommy2bx3 - 82 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 29-32

amber325 - 83 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am taking one around 34 weeks..the Nurse that scheduled me said it was better to take it right before you deliever so you remember and so it is fresh for you.

Debra - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) if you are interested in having a natural birth, i recommend classes that follow the 'birthing from within' view point as the hospital classes will focus on medications and not as much on actual breathing techniques. Make sure you read "Ina May's guide to childbirth" it helped me dilate quickly and the labor wasn't nearly as bad as i believed prior to reading this book. I took classes at 34 weeks and was more prepared. The earlier, you may forget the info you learned. But closer to your due date may mean you may go into labor before finishing the class. I have more tips on packing and labor/ getting through contraction pain on my VIP site. please visit! also on breastfeeding.

moms the word - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would choose the later one. You'll be closer to delivery so the information will be fresh in your mind for the birth. Good luck!

aulrobbri - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would take it 29-32
