Im 37 weeks and I havent lost my mucus plug yet...I was wondering is it possible to bleed alittle right before you lose it??

sparkle11971 - 80 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I guess everyone is different and I know I didn't bleed b4 the plug with either of my kids. And shes right what its called bloody show. I bled after the plug with my 1st then I went into labor. You know you could have lost pieces and not really notice it. Its kind of like snot well the consistency. the more and more you loose the wider you cervix is opening so the bleeding is coming from there.

moms the word - 80 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) According to two of my three sisters, they both had some light bleeding right before losing their plug (I never lost mine with my first cause I was induced 12 days overdue). If it is excessive bleeding or is bright red, then call your doctor. Bleeding must be a normal part of the process or why else would they call it "bloody show"?
