technicaly yes but think about it... microwaves radiate your food... i personaly wont eat and dont even think it is safe to eat anything cooked in a microwave, you are eating radiation! Even if it is in safe levels i wouldnt recomend it for a baby. It is just as easy to use a bottle warmer or do what we do and mix cold sterile water from the fridge with boiling kettle water till you get the right temperature, that way it still only takes about a minet to make the bottle up and i know my babys not eating radiated milk.

plastics are not safe. Just warm a cofee mug of water for 1 minute ( really hot)and set the bottle in it for about 30 seconds to a minute and it will be perfect. Babs safty is number one! :)You odnt want to cook the milk, just warm it a bit

I have been microwaving my daughters bottles since she was about 4 months old. I just do the water for like 10 seconds for 6 ounces then I put in the powder for the formula and shake it up and then test it. Now I just do her morning bottle and her before bed bottle. During the day she drinks it room temperature or even cold out of the refridgerator.

at my work in the infant room we microwave the babies bottles all the time. we only do it for like 20 seconds for a full bottle, it barely makes it warm but it takes the chill out and we always shake it and test it on our wrists before giving it to them. i dont see any harm in it as long as you arent putting it in for long

yeah i dont see why it wouldnt be safe...a lot of people worry way too much. As long as its not too hot and the bottle is clear, or you use a liner to heat it in..all is good

I microwaved my kids bottles too. I know they say you arent suppose to but I dont leave it in too long and I make sure to shake it up. Of course I check it before giving it to them.

i microwaved my sons bottles. there are certain plastics that arent safe. plastics that you cant see through perfectly arent safe. like colored ones. but clear bottles are safe. i did this whole research thing on it cuz i was freaked out about this thing i saw on the news. but if you shake them it takes out the hot spots, my son never got burnt..

isn't there a danger in microwaving plastic bottles as well? some chemical in them that could get into the milk?

Using the microwave also takes the nutrients out of the milk. if you just microwave the water and then add the formula it is different. But be careful of it being hot in certain areas..
