If it is uncomfortable then don't obviously. You know your body.

The basic rule of thumb is that if you feel fine and dont get light headed, then everything should be fine for the baby. When you start to get uncomfortable...and you will... so will the baby. The bigger you are the more uncomfortable you are, so first time moms can remain on their backs longer generally...

Debra - 1285 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Don't worry. You can sleep in whatever position makes you comfortable. When your uterus becomes large enough to cause problems, such as what happens and your blood flow is partially cut off to your legs and uterus, you will know right away. You will feel dizzy in your sleep and wake up and or you will start to feel uncomfortable or have pain. You will find that you will only be comfortable on your left side after a while. I slept which ever way I could until I hit about 33 weeks. Everyone is different as well.

kbrooke1231 - 1285 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think it only matter after about 25 weeks

earthmomma - 1285 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) its bad because after your uterus gets a certain size, it pushes down veins. it can lessen the amount of blood and oxygen that gets to your baby. i sleep on my sides but when i wake up on my back i just roll back over. i think it is ok if you accidently do it and then change positions, but if you slept on you back all night or for long periods of time then it could become a bigger problem.

tonya- - 1285 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was told that its ok until you get alot bigger and that if you did fall asleep on your back that your belly would fall asleep and wake you up before it would hurt the baby

xbabybeanx - 1285 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi are you askin if its to sleep on your back? I think i've read that its not good for you after 24 weeks, but check in your bounty book i'm sure it says in there. Sleeping on your side is best and wedge a pillow under your bump if its uncomfy. Hope this helps x
