WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF GOING INTO LABOR AROUND 38 WEEKS?? I JUST WANT TO MEET HIM SOOO BAD! IS IT NORMAL FOR MOST BABYS TO STAY IN UNTIL 40?? HAVE ANY OF YOU GONE NATUARALLY EARLY.

Completely natural - so much so that he was born at home - 29 minutes from first contraction to birth (see my birth story for more). My oldest also came naturally pretty quick (about 2hrs of labor), and I was 36 or 38 weeks depending on which due date I went by (15 yrs later I still don't think my initial due date was correct). So don't worry there is a possibility of your babe coming on his own any time now! Good Luck & Best Wishes.

mommy2b - 1283 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had both of my boys 2 weeks early. First one, i went into labor 3 hours after having sex in hopes that it would induce labor and the 2nd one, I started having contractions 30 min. after having sex in hopes that it would also induce labor. I also did nipple stimulation with my second, which I don't advice. That made my contractions ALOT worse. Not, that I am trying to give you tips on how to make you go into labor. I am just saying what worked for me. Luckily, both of my boys were healthy and had no problems. Good luck to you!

CassandraLee - 1284 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Its possible, but its also possible to go 2 weeks past your due date. Theres no normal. Everyone is different. Sorry.

mrs mommy - 1284 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes, just 2 days ago. I'm only 35 weeks. They had to give me magnesium to stop the labor. I finally just got home. Baby is ok.. I know you can go into labor 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after due date. Good luck you're practically done!

Its-Chelle - 1284 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) out of my 4 kids, 2 came 1-2 wks early and the other 2 were a few days over due..it just depends when your baby is ready.. my sister was almost 2 wks overdue..
