I`m 38 weeks and for the last 30 mins i`ve had some pain around my pelvic bone kinda like when you have your period. could this be a sign of labor?

femi - 1281 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had menstrual like cramps too and my midwife said it's your body getting ready and those cramps may actually be helping you dilate and efface a little bit at a time!

tdotali - 1281 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've had low menstrual cramps for weeks now. Along with sharp shooting pains in the area. I think it's just the body preparing for labour, but it can happen at any moment.

katznkt - 1282 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I dont know what kind of pain you are feeling, but The last couple of weeks I felt my daughter pushing down, causing some pain in the pelvic region. More than likely it is just stretching ligaments, and you are still a ways away from labor, but nobody really knows except the baby and god. Good luck!

riknlee - 1282 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) your body is going to go through all kinds of changes and practices for labour as the hormones build up and bubby's eviction date looms. At 38 weeks almost everything is a sign of labour but you wont know unless you actually do go into labour. I cant remember having any pain like that, but everyone is different - good luck with it
