Is it ok for babies to suck on pacifiers while they are teething? Cause i`m not sure it well damage her teeth or not.

CassandraLee - 94 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Of course it is. If it helps them relieve some of the pain then why not. My son uses his alot when hes teething. He ends up chewing on it instead of sucking on it. It gives them some control in trying to relieve their own discomfort.

smilebig27 - 94 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son had one until he was 2 years old. i didn't bother him on bit. Sucking your thumb is a different thing. My son did have an overbit but once we got rid of the picifier it went away. It doesn't bother them when there are teething.

Lorien - 94 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think it is fine depending on the age of your child. Mine all refuse to take a pacifier after 6 months and they start teething around 4-5 months. Lots of people bottle feed and a bottle nipple is a lot like a pacifier. If they are sucking there thumb or using a pacifier for an excessively long time like after age 2 then I might be concerned. Just make sure they are not biting pieces off or damaging the pacifier because then it can become a choking hazard.
