brwneyedgrl9 - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son had this on both sides. He is 5 weeks old now and they have been gone for almost 2 weeks now. And like the others said it is just excess hormones from us.

moms the word - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My nephew had this. They told my sister it was excess hormones from her. It went away a few days later and he is just fine.

kater - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my baby boy had this too. i freaked out and took him to the doctor. she wasnt at all concerned, and as femi has said, its caused by the mothers hormones. Jacobs went away in just a few days. dont worry, he will be fine

femi - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i've heard of newborns having swollen breasts/nipples because of the mother's hormones, but i'm not sure if that only applies to baby girl newborns. my daughter's are slightly swollen (and by slightly i mean you'd have to touch to feel that they are a little raised) and i was told it'll go away; merely hormones from inside the womb and birth.
