Amniotic Fluid Leaking?

Hey girls. So I need some help. Because im not quite sure.. But yesterday When i was at the my doctor appointment i got sent over to the hospital to be monitered because when my midwife listened to my babys heart she said there was a dip and that meant that the amniotic fluid might be low.. We went and got monitered and everything seemed fine. But ever since last night i keep feeling a little bit of liquid come out and when i check theres a wet spot. I had been loosing my mucus plug over the past few days and i know its not that. I Know that girls sometimes pee a little on accident but I never had that problem at all so I dont think its that either. So what do you guys think?? The spot isnt very big or anything its quite little and then sometimes i wont get another spot for a few hours and then it happens again... What should I do?? Im getting worried.

moms the word - 1260 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It could be a slow leak. Look for signs of labor especailly if you have been losing your mucus plug. This may sound gross, but if you really wanna know what it is, then smell it. Urine smells like urine. If it doesn't smell at all, go and have your midwife check you to see if you are leaking. They can do a check with a little piece of special paper to tell if it is amniotic fluid or not. Good luck!

reneaj - 1260 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) OK SO THIS IS WHAT MY DOC TOLD ME. IF YOU COUGH AND FLUID COMES OUT THEN ITS AMNIOTIC FLUID... BUT IT WILL HAPPEN EVERYTIME YOU COUGH NOT JUST ONCE OR EVERY OTHER TIME.. IT HAS TO BE EVERY TIME, BUT I WOULD STILL PROBLY GO GET CHECKED

Julianna - 1260 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Go back to the hospital and have them test it. They can tell if it is amniotic fluid or not....even if it is just a little leak, they have these paper strips they use and it only takes a tiny amount to tell if it is truly your amniotic fluid or not
