What do you all think of the name Draven? Family hates it, friends like it. Not sure what to do, boyfriend wont change it, but i just want opinions

You always end up coming back to that one name that stands out in your head as perfect. This is your decision, your choice, and it is your turn to choose a name. That is your right as this beautiful baby's mommy, and daddy. What ever name you choose will be perfect a perfect fit for this baby. Have fun

BBno3 - 1259 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) We are having a boy too and my husband really liked the name DRAVEN but it sounded to "vampire movie-ish" to me. But on the upside, I've never heard of anyone with that name. I'd say if you & your bf both like/love it, you should go for it & not care about what others think. We have decided on the name Drake Aaron for our baby boy & half of our friends & family hate it. I say, they should have a baby of their own & name it whatever they want. :)

Just remember that the child has to live with it his whole life. Boyfriend...in the end doesn't really have the final say, you really should agree on a name. If one of you doesn't like it....then what???

MelissaJoanne - 1259 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've heard it used a few times, always taken from The Crow. It's a little *too* goth for my taste (and I used to use a coffin purse and wear a skirt shaped like bat wings back in the day, so that's saying something!). It's not an awful name, but it seems too much like a fake spooky name that a D+D kid would adapt, like Lazarus or Talon. If you're down with the association, go with Draven. There will probably be a fair amount of people that love it, and those that think it's silly.
