ill be 21 weeks on wednesday but am measuring 5 days ahead, but i have the worst back pain i feel silly because im still early in pregnancy sort of but its pinching constantly, my back is naturally very curved in my lower back so now its even more curved as u can imagine, i am seeing my chiropractor every 2 weeks and swim when I get the chance, but even sitting in the car hurts, its making me feel quite down and i cant handle anything negative at the moment, i just want to stop having to go to work and just relax all day long, but thats too long doing nothing till bub arrives :( so my questions is advice please what has everyone else done?!?!?!?! sorry to have a whinge but needed to vent!!!!

MzMommy2B - 74 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I agree, pregnancy pillow is definitely the way to go! My back started hurting me in the 2nd trimester as well and the pillow helped, atleast a little. better then nothing!

jaydsmom - 74 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have bad back pain too. I bought a specially designed pregnancy pillow, and it really helped me. It keeps everything in line while you are sleeping or laying down. It might help make the beginning of your day better.

Kaylaaa - 75 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have always been prone to back pain and started getting a sore back around where you are now.. I'm 37 weeks now and it still gets sore and now I waddle like i've shit my pants while limping around with the pain lol. I think it's one of those things that doesn't correct until baby is born because a.) all your ligaments and joints and your spine and everything is looser and softer preparing for birth so not supporting you like it used to and b.) you all of a sudden have all that extra weight concentrated in one area which just happens to be pulling on your lower back where it is all soft and less supportive. I think posture plays a big part in easing the discomfort though try to stand and sit straight when you remember expecially if your lower back is naturally already really curved.

mariettap - 75 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's the pits. So sorry. I try and tuck in my pelvis, to the extent that I can, as much of the day as I can do it. Found an article last week about exercises that might help: http://www.spine-health.com/wellness/exercise/exercise-back-pain-during-pregnancy
