could you `feel` that you were going to go into labor or was it a surprise?

were you able to sense it within a day or two of it happening? or was it a complete surprise? my body is ready, we`re just waiting on the baby to be ready! im 3 cm dilated, 50% effaced, losing my mucous plug and ive had 5 false labors! we`re having sex everyday at least once, ive been walking around shopping for between 2-4 hrs a day most days and i go up and down the stairs a million times a day at home - still nothing. i know the baby will come when it`s ready, i just dont feel like im going to go into labor anytime soon (im 11 days away from my due date). could you sense that you were going to go into labor or did it shock/surprise you will sudden contractions or a water breaking?

kevinsmilf08 - 1248 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) When you're in labor, you know. You just know. You wont have to question if you are or not. You will know. My labor started off slowly and rythmically. It was not horribly painful at first. It gave me a nice ease into active labor. As soon as I gave up and thought the baby would never come and that I'd be preggo forever, she came. I was 16 days overdue! I delivered at 42w2d. It was like my body needed me to calm down about actually going into labor. So when I "accepted" that I was not helping labor by worrying, she came... So try your best to relax. Enjoy your last days being by yourself!!

Amanda.M - 1249 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Well with my 1st two i didnt really have feeling i was going to have them soon,but with my 3rd i was getting contractions every night i was up for hr's waiting for them to become intense that happend for 2wks every night it was a pain in the ass,but i still kind of knew it was'nt time coz i never woke my man to say it's time the real labour happend the next morning after my stretch n sweep. With my last i woke in the morning and had lost my mucas plug and i knew (had a strong feeling)that i was going to go the hosp that night even b4 i was getting any pain. so i told my man to call his parents and to expect us to bring the kids there that night, all day i had pains hrs apart then it happend when i was sleeping i woke up and knew it was time and it was.

12.31.08 - 1249 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My body was like a cat!! it knew when i was going to go into labor and i had a very weird hard to describe feeling as to when it would happen! The two days leading up to the contractions i was on edge... my body felt very weird and i felt like i was going to jump out of my skin! I felt unsettled.. and couldnt sleep even though i wanted to.. I count sit still.. not because i was cleaning or bord.. just because.. hard to describe.. but i knew something was off.. then i got back labor.. and it was time!

Holly28 - 1249 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Mine started off with just intense cramps. They felt like the worst menstral cramps I had ever had and progressed from there. I had a bit of a suspicion that labor was going to start soon though because a few hours before the cramping started I made my mother and b/f insanely thoroughly clean the house with me at 2am. I couldn't stop, nothing was clean enough (I was obviously nesting). I was also a week overdue at this point. So the cramping wasn't a surprise since it was way past the point of me expecting it to start.

They weren't painful but annoying then on the second day after being awake for 2 days already because of the BH it was like a switch went off and they turned in to real contractions at 5 minutes apart. So i imagine the BH was just early labour that lasted quite a while. I knew once the BH started that consistently that it was only a matter of time

kbushby - 1249 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) well i was 2cm 50% on thursday and i had a false labor that day. contractions every 5 minutes, went to the hospital and it completly stopped. mucus plug is coming out more and more each day since wednesday. but i have been feeling a little different since last night, so im not sure if thats my body telling me its coming soon or what.. hopefully!

Its-Chelle - 1249 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) there were times i felt like maybe today!just little things were happening and i kept hoping it was time..but my last baby ,my son, wouldnt budge..lol..with my first 3 kids, when it was time, i knew it just by the contractions cause i didnt really have too much of the false labor contractions..and when i started contracting that was it..time to go..lol
