I wasn't working when I got pregnant and then decided to get something part time to help out. I waited until the MS was pretty well over. I have had to go home early but oh well. They knew that I was pregnant when they hired me and that was their decision. If you have bad MS, I would wait until you stop throwing up though because that is rough if you are working full time.

I would...You will def need the money and it will help pass the time. I actually picked up a part time serving job (I work full time during the day at a bank) when I was preggo. Did it up until 3 days before giving birth :-)

Id say start working and saving! Most moms work through morning sickness and are sometimes miserable. Its a part of pregnancy!

I would say go for it, as long as your feeling well, I just had my 3rd baby and worked with all three, I was lucky and didnt have any morning sickness or anything so i was able to work right up until It was time for delivery. Its a good way to pass time because sitting around waiting for the baby can seem like forever!! And if you do end up where you cant handle it, you can always stop. =)

I just finished school for MA also in June actually and I got a job with the clinic I interned with. I loved the clinical part of MA so that is what I did up until I started getting bigger and tired. Than they let me go to the administration part. Which is so simple its not the running around taking care of patients. I would say do it because you are going to want to keep everything you learned at school fresh in your mind...the medical field changes so much that by the time April rolls around you could be lost in new info.

I would recomend a temp job...Like work for the xmas season in retail or something. I wouldn't get a medical job yet since most wont hire you since you will be off work soon.

Each pregnancy is different so only you can decide, and fundamentally assess the financial situation. I was unemployed when i got pregnant, was looking anyways as i hate being out of work, but i will say that i was thankful for the wage as providing for a baby isnt cheap, and we ahd just moved house too so needed money to decorate!(how much stress when pregnant?lol) And you have rights when pregnant and working - just try and make sure that you are out of your probationary period before you tell anyone. If you can. I couldnt wait as i showed straight away but work was ace with me and got me a health and safetly assessment at my desk.

That's up to you and your boyfriend. Each pregnancy is different. For my first, I had to be put on bedrest for 2 months, my second child came with little complications, so I worked up to 8 1/2 months. You could very well become sick, miserable, and somewhat disabled. Many of us are. Just gauge how you are feeling for a few weeks. Perhaps working part-time would be a good option at this point?

2nd trimester is usually great so if you are not having problems now I say go for it! Will also make the time pass quicker and more money will bring less strain. You can always stop if it is too much

I'd say go for it! I tried to get a job when i first found out i was pregnant but no one would hire me. I wish i could have worked but instead i was stuck at home worrying about every little thing. The second trimester for me was a breeze so i would have been fine working through it. How are u feeling right now? If u do decide to get a job, just don't over do it.
