when i went to the doctors the other day, i asked if they could tell me what position the baby was in...and the told me it was to early to tell!??!!! but i dont get it...because im 26 and 1/2 weeks...is there any way you can tell without the doctors help??

Mrs.M.H. - 1237 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) So if they were to try to tell you they would be wrong after an hour anyway the baby is just moving around too much and you8 can guess what position if you like but it will change a lot! It is just something fun to do but not anything to get upset about I'm 36 and 3days and they can't tell you to much then either just head up down, bum, back, but the rest is kinda just a guess because they still change even now and it is simply hard to tell with the fact they can only feel the one side of the baby anyway. Try to enjoy it and have fun guessing mom's are usually better at guessing anyway! Good luck:)

earthmomma - 1237 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) not at 26 weeks... the baby is still moving all around at that time, so even if you could tell, it wouldnt mean he wouldnt turn the other way again. i think closer to the end when the babys skull has hardened enough to tell it from their butt then you might be able to feel, but by this time the doctor will be able to also and they will tell you. i have been waiting forever for them to tell me and today they finally could. i am 33 wk almost 34. at my last appt at 31 wk they said they still couldnt tell.
