i had my baby 2.5 wks ago and i am still bleeding. does anyone know if this is normal?

femi - 1228 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my daughter is six weeks and three days old and i just stopped bleeding. then again, i stopped bleeding when she was 4.5 weeks old and it came back shortly after and stayed for a few more days. so, yes, you're fine! it's annoying, ain't it? :oP

Debra - 1229 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes- unless you are bleeding heavily and there are lots of clots. At this point, it should be light red-to pink or even brown. Its common to bleed for 6 weeks or so and everyone is different. personally i bled for 5 weeks and finally got my cycle back after 10 months post partum.

12.31.08 - 1229 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) sweetie this is very very normal. You should expect bleeding for up to six weeks. Every mom is different though and some only have it for about 3 or 4. I personaly lasted three.
