nich-vegas-mommy - 1218 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) People say breastfed babies don't have smelly poo, but my son is the perfect example that proves otherwise! Breastfed babies do poo a lot, usually about 6-8 times a day in their early weeks.

I was like you and thought something was wrong with my son because it was nasty. My doctor said he was fine. (He was only breastfeed too until 5.5 months old)

Debra - 1223 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my son's poops did not really smell. I always thought it looked like mustard. It could be what you are eating. ALot of garlic? gassy foods? brocolli, beans, cauliflower, heavily processed foods? all will make a difference.

moms the word - 1223 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) As their little tummies grow and change so does their poop. Like the other ladies said, no poop is gonna smell "good" so don't worry about it. If she gets gassy and has a hard time nursing (gets cranky and won't settle after feeding), then I would worry that she is having problems with the milk but if it is just smelly poop, she is probably just fine. It could be from foods you are eating but as long as they don't cause her any problems like I mentioned before, she should be ok. Congratulations on the new little one!
