what are the chances of your waters breaking at 34 weeks pregnant?

niceyes - 1222 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Waters can break at anytime, my second child was born at 35 weeks, and my waters broke. She was just prem and everything was fine, she was a amazing weight of 9pounds!! I was glad she was born then. Good luck with your pregnancy and if u have any signs of water breaking go and get it checked by your doctor. Sometimes the front waters break and the hind water is not broken. Take care.

Lorien - 1222 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Pretty unlikely unless, like the other moms said, you are having problems with your pregnancy. My water has never broke on its own with all 3 of mine. I was barely shy of 10 cm dilated when my Dr. broke my water with my last one. If you think it may have broke go in right away and have them check for you (they will take a swab and look at it under a microscope)

earthmomma - 1222 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you are considered term at 37 weeks. so right now if they broke you would go into pre-term labor. if your pregnancy has been fine so far and you arent having regular contractions, your water shouldnt be breaking.

mummychell - 1223 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) your waters can break at any time but would be better if it was later on, if you have had a straight forward pregnancy all should be fine until yr due good luck
