Im going to be induced tomarrow morning. im scared to death! i was induced with my first daughter, who is now 3 and all i can remember from the labor was awful pain. And a 24 hour labor. Anybody have any induced labor stories they want to share? Come on, share your induced birth stories!Thank you ladies!!

The pitocin went to work rather quickly and i rec'd an epidural at 4cm both times but moved to that point rather quickly so I like i said i didn't mind at all. I would do it again if they wanted me to or if i was overdue.

Lorien - 1220 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was given pitocin with my first and 2 and I have to say the pain was so much worse than with my third. I told them I absolutely did not want to be induced unless there was some reason that it was absolutely necessary! So with my third I just waited at home until I was certain things were well on there way. By the time I got to the hospital I was already a 6 and my labor and delivery were amazing. They were nothing like the first 2 although all 3 took between 6-8 hours from start to finish the pain and the length of time that I was in the worst pain was totally different. I did not have an epideral with any of them so I could definitely feel the difference. I am going to do the same with this one I will do just about whatever I have to to avoid another induction! One more thing with my first I had to have an episiotamy, the second I tore upwards (OUCH!) the third without the pitocin very mild tear that healed really quickly.

Its-Chelle - 1221 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i was induced with my first..and it was scary since it was a first for everything..i was also again induced with my 4th..i knew what to expect this time..but i was only in labor a couple hrs after the pitocin was started, and the same with my 1st, i would say about 3 hrs after it was started.but this last time i was more ready for it,as much as i could be for the stronger and more frequent contractions..but no matter what, its difficult.im just glad it was over fast.you just gotta really try to conentrate and breathe..good luck,im sure things will be ok..it might go much faster this time..
