just yday i noticed my ankles and legs were swollen. besides laying off the salt (i had mcdonalds fries early that day) what else can i do about the swelling? i know your also supposed to elevate your feet, but for how long? and what are some other ways to get the swelling to go down?

SurferBabyGirl-on-board - 1216 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I obviously had a huge problem with this, put on bedrest @ 26 wks b/c how HUGE my feet would get...anywho, I would have my boyfriend rub the swelling out and then lay on the couch & prop them up on top of the couch (we have a wrap around couch)...Def. cut back on sodium, it sucks, I ate a huge olive garden meal a week ago & came home & my feet had already began to ballon up. Good luck & make sure you let your docotor know, they may want to start a 24 hour urine test on you just to get a base line, so later on once they do it again they can see if its gone up...

EmmaReed84 - 1216 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) drink plenty of water, i know it sounds backwards, water retention so drink more lol. But it will help, if you notice its not going down at all, just speak to MW and perhaps have a quick check up.
