Sorry, there isn't too much that you can do about it. Maybe an nice warm bath. That always "helped" but it can be difficult getting in and out of the bath in pain. I have had this with all mine and from 20wks. Ligaments! GOT TO LOVE THEM!!!!! Ligament pain can make you unable to move and can make you cry they can get so bad. Don't be afraid of it. I know that doesn't help so much but just know that you will be ok:-)

You can thank relaxin for that, it helps to separate your hips to allow the baby to be born. Aches and pains are part and parcel with being pregnant.

my hips started to hurt really bad around this time too. you baby is getting bigger and requiring more space. it may even be starting to turn head down and drop down into your hips a bit. also, your hip and pelvic bones start to spread in preparation for the delivery. maybe you could try laying on a heating pad on your sides? i dont know what else might help. tylenol doesnt do anything for me.

Ah, the wonderful sciatic nerve!! It is a main nerve that runs from the base of your spine all the way down to your toes in each leg. I hurt with my 2nd child from the third trimester. I am now in 2nd trimester with 3rd child and I am in serious pain. There is nothing you can really do. My doctor told me it was from carrying the extra weight. It just hits you and there is nothing you can do. Good luck! Oh, and it gets better after delivery.

I have had a lot of this. By the last few weeks of my 1st pregnancy, I could barely walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It's b/c of the Relaxin hormone, softening those joints. It softens *all* the joints and those whose joints were already fairly flexible can really suffer. 2 things help: 1) strengthening up the muscles of the thighs and tush to better support the joint (during and after pregnancy), 2) less side sleeping. I know, it's a pregnancy book thing, we're told to sleep on our left. Try sleeping upright instead. Get about 5 pillows, seriously. Put one under your knees for comfort, and the rest go behind you and you sleep sitting up. It took away all the asymmetrical pressure on my hips and I rarely complain anymore about hip pain. Even if you do this for only half of the night, it's way less stress on those hips.
