Strech Marks Added: 492 days ago. Added by: silver1 Section: General. Status: This question is Closed. (Questions will be closed after 10 days.)
This may be TMI but I am desprate. I am 27 weeks and I have noticed strech marks on my breasts. My husband HATES them. I was an `A` cup before I got preggers and now am up to a very full `C`. Is there anything I can do to stop the progression or make them less noticeable??

well i'm not sure really i mean like everyone else says you could use cocoa butter it helps with the streching but i was a DD before i got prego and i really haven't got any bigger but i've had stretch marks on my breasts since i was like 15 i'm 18 now and they are just whitish, silvery colored now so they do fade....good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!!!

i know how your feel i have them to but not as bad. I went from a B to a Full C and my boyfriend loves these things. I am only 22 weeks so that means they are still growing. I don't have strach marks anywhere else on my body, I think that is a good thing. With my frist i went from B to full D and I looked funny, small girl with these big boobs I hope I don't get that big again but again my BF really hope they get that big, he is a boob man LOL

I am sorry to say that there is absolutely no way to stop them. The fact the you are only 27 weeks means you will probably be getting more before you are finished. If your boyfriend "hates" them then tell him he won't be seeing you naked until he can get over it because they are here to stay. They do fade though so once things aren't so big they will fade to white and are barely noticeable. Seriously kick your bf in the balls for making you feel bad about what is happening to your body. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and it is about sacrifice. So you are sacrificing your body and your boyfriend is gonna have to deal with it

Shame on him for saying he HATES them! You are carrying his baby. Don't worry about them, They fade over time.

theres nothing you can do about them, there genetic..i tried creams etc but nothing worked...my mother had them bad,and so has my sister.its been 2 years since my baby, and mine have faded alot, just silver marks..u can try bio oil after bubs is born that seemed to help alot..by 30 weeks i had stretchmarks on my belly, thighs, boobs, and vagina badly i looked like a tiger...the joys of being a mother:)and tell your hubby, wait untill he sees them with milk..now thats lovely.

Sadly, nope. Stretch marks are as much genetic as anything, and are a result of your skin's inability to stretch as quickly as your body required. Keeping moisturized can sometimes help, but if you're destined to get them, then you will, and you might as well fight grey hair and wrinkles as you age. If it's any consolation, the stretch marks will fade over time and be barely noticeable eventually. As for your husband's opinion of them, a bit rude of him to be so judgmental about the situation, as it was in large part his doing, eh? Rest assured his anatomy will deteriorate over time as well; you might mention that it's just not his turn yet, and ask him to consider how he will feel when the time comes.
