l am hiv -, husband is hiv +. What are the options available to us to have a healthy baby?

babygirl6 - 1192 days ago Thanks all for your advise. l think our decsion is going to be affected by a lot of things. Our health insurance does not cover spem washing / artificial insemination - since this procedure is classified under infertility and as far as l know, no health insurance in South Africa seems to cover this. We have to take into account the cash costs to be involved if we are to use this method, or the risk of transmission if we are to use other methods. Will keep u up to date.

mariettap - 1195 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Does your health insurance cover "infertility"? Not saying you have infertility-- The services of a good reproductive endocrinologist (=fertility specialist) for the more complex couple's needs just can't be replaced. They can offer you counseling about your best options.
