You can get sleeper sets with matching touques and mitts so that way he will be warmer. I wanted all these cute outfits for my daughter when she was newborn but I hated dressing her in them when she was new. Her neck was so floppy. I favoured the button up undershirts and sleepers. Also if you are breastfeeding don't forget Lanolin!!! It will be your life saver

ira456 - 1180 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) When I had my babies the hospital supplied the diapers and wipes and I used the baby hospital gowns and blankets too. My husband came with the car seat, blanket and sleeper for when he brought me home. If you'd rather pack, you do as you wish but don't worry, it sounds like you haven't forgotten a thing.

12.28.08 - 1180 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You can take out your wipes and diapers and save them for home.. Your forgetting to bring Sleepers.. Bring about 3 for the stay, and one outfit for baby to come home in. You should also bring along maybe two or three recieving blankets. And dont forget thoes baby hats!! If your not breast feeding take a soother along as well if you are breast feeding the lactation nurse could be a little anoyed if you give baby a soother so soon bc it can confuse them and intrup breast feeding sucking and latching. Other then that.. your good.. dont forget the camera!

RobinG - 1180 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With all three of mine, born in differnt hospitals, I didnt need anything ~ everything I needed was provided for me. Wipes, clothing, diapers, bottles, blanket, paci, etc etc I didnt even bring the bag til I went home just so I had items I needed for the car ride. :)

courtenay - 1180 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) deffinitly bring them if your not sure, most hospitals give you some stuff though. i'd bring more than one recieving blanket, at my hospital we had to use rolled up recieving blankets for the head support in the car seat instead of the one it came with as those are considered unsafe by the insurance companies here. they are a bit firmer (better support for babys head) then most of the head supports that come with them.

jaydsmom - 1180 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Your best bet is to call the hospital and ask them what you should bring. I brought all the stuff you mentioned, plus my own stuff, and then the hospital provided everything except what we both wore home. They even discouraged me using my own nightgown, because they had easier access to me with the hospital gowns.
