pregnant again just 4 weeks after miscarriage

I had a natural miscarriage at 8 weeks on October 23rd and have just found out that I am pregnant again. I am having some lower back pain but no bleeding. I am so scared and can`t see my doctor until Monday. Has anyone else experienced this? My family is telling me I should have waited to let my body heal.

pregnant after miscarriage - 1178 days ago Thanks everyone. I went back to the doctor today and my hcg level is 48. The nurse said it was really low. My doctor told me this was common since it was so early and wants me to repeat the test in a couple of days to make sure my levels are rising.

vikki - 1179 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Family smamily, They tell you that for 2 reasons, 1) that they love you and don't want you to go through bad times again and 2) ( which is the reason why MY family says such things) is that THEY can't bare it for one reason or the other. I got pregnant the month after loosing too, and was scared to death ( you'll see why if you read my page ) HOWEVER here I am 30weeks!!!!!YAY I hope everything goes well for your Doc's appointment and don't listen to your family. muffintops - 1179 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my doctor told me to try again straight away,even after a d & c..theres no evidence of letting your body "recover" he told me its only for dating.i remember i had lower back pain for both pregnancies at the start,so its probably normal! dont stress to much!

mariettap - 1179 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My family knows better than to try telling me a thing like that! I'm sure they whispered it to each other, but none dared burden me with their opinions. I have been through the ringer myself, and I can tell you that once you have fallen in love with the idea of a future with a child, there's just no turning back. It's hard and it's frightening. For *any* pregnancy, there is some level of risk and no way of knowing just yet how things will go. You can take care of yourself emotionally and physically. Be kind to yourself, and call on someone you trust to help you through this time. I wish you the best, and peace in your heart, because it is so very hard to wait it out. Best wishes. (I *do* have friends who have had the same happen within a single cycle and have their babies growing strong!)

12.28.08 - 1179 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I became pregnant after a miscarriage. I had one cycle between the two pregnancies! I too was very nervous and every little twich became a panick. But im happyt o say that i am now 35 weeks pregnant with my healthy baby girl! She is due in decemeber. I talk to another mom on this site who became pregnant after no cycle (4 weeks) She too is 35 weeks pregnant!! Dont worrie, ill tell you the same thing my doctor told me.. If your body became pregnant again right after the Miscarry it only meens that it was ready to carry another child. To become pregnant your embryo has to implant into the uterus.. and your linning had to have been thick and prepared to hold this little one even if it was soon after a loss. It is easier to become pregnant after a MC because the linning is so rich with hormone left from the last embryo. Make sure your taking it easy for the first 12 weeks and that your taking your pre natal Vitamin everyday! Congrats!
