i have a 2 1/2 week old baby. im looking to buy a baby sling for him. i want to be able to use it right away, so i need something suitable for an infant, and if it goes up to bigger sized thats good too, but if not thats also ok i can just buy another one later. i dont know anything about baby slings so im asking for your expierences and suggestions on what kind/brand would be best! thanks!

(thought it was too squashed up IMO). I did however love carring bubs in a Chicco marsupio go baby carrier; http://www.chiccousa.com/gear/backpacks-carriers/ultrasoft-carrier/ultrasoft-carrier-red.aspx Now she weighs a bit more am now carying her forward-facing in a baby bjorn carrier, which is great... Her Dad loves it too! (PS just wanted to mention, please just keep an eye on their breathing in a baby carrier, i.e that their little noses don't get squished if they fall asleep in it... I had a bit of a scare once when baby was very little. She's fine, but just so you'r aware).

Its design is amazing and you can even breastfeed in it while they are infants. It adjusts to be used in the front, on the side, or on the back for when baby is older. Truly is a great carrier.

mariettap - 1173 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Do you have a Right Start store near you? They do push their own store brand, but they offer otehrs as well. I would try to pop in to a store like that, where you can get personal attention from an associate who will help you try out the various options so you can see what works best for you. I tried but didn't feel comfy in a sling, so I used other things. It depends on your size, your musculature, your baby's willingness to accept certain positions... Very individual.
