alergy meds

I have a friend who has a cat and well there is a huge social thing at her house that i have to kinda go to .. the prob is i`m terribly alergic to cats... does anyone know of any kind of alergy meds that i can take that will help and be okay to take w/ my baby... i`m 24 weeks preggo.. the only thing that ever really worked before (kinda) was alervert... any suggestions?

JacquelineTurner - 1169 days ago oh no ... well benedryl makes me sleepy and that would be pointless to go to a social to sleep... lol... but i can keep that in mind and take it when i get home .... but i may try claritan .. i'm going to call the dr first but i just wanted some advice... thank you all

antsmom - 1169 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Call your doctor office. If they are not available go to your local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist what allergy meds are safe while prego. Good luck.

There are these wipes that you could recommend your friend to get and to wipe her cat down with and it picks up their dander and stuff and then just tell her to clean the house really well before the party starts. There is also a spray that can be bought and sprayed on couches and stuff and it gets rid of cat dander and stuff in furniture. Sorry but that is all I can think of
