about 3 months ago my lil girl was diagnosed with it. her wonderful doctor gave her a breathing machine with albuterol treatments, antibiotics, and prescribed cough decongestant. she got better within days. they also said she could have asthma due to her weezing in her chest. well, i think that might be coming back because she is coughing horribly and wakes up like 3 times a night crying coughing. i still use the breathing treatments and the decongestant but it doesnt seem to be working as well as last time. i am taking her to the doc as soon as they can fit her in, until then.. any suggestions? has anyone else been thru this?? know what im talking about?

Bienks - 1164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Here is some good advise, go buy a nebulizer now, I treat my boy with it once a week for a day once in the morning once at night with saline solution, all his couchs, runny nose and wheezing is over now, as soon as I head his cheast wheezing a little I put him on the nebulizer, so easy clears up everything, he hasn't had a bad chest since

KarenBG - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) have they mentioned RAD (reactive airway disease) or BPD (bronchopulmonary dysplasia)? Usually doctors won't even touch the word asthma until kids are three, it's usually called RAD until then. I would ask.

kater - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my baby boy is 4 months and has bronchiolitis twice ( he has it at the moment) and bronchitis once. its incredibly had when your little one is sick isnt it! i have been back to my doctor twice as my little guy is coughing so much, but they tell me that the only thing we can do is keep him comfortable as his infection is viral, not bacterial, so there is nothing we can do. if he is having trouble breathing (breaths come in gasps) or not drinking and becoming dehydrated, we need to take him straight to the hospital. we were told basically to just keep him comfortable, use vicks and have him sleeping propped up to help mucus drain away.
