i can`t change my 18 month olds` clothes

My 18 month old has recently gone from wanting to be named all the time, to screaming and throwing a tantrum if i try to take his clothes off. i have no idea what happened or what to do about it. it`s terrible. any ideas? has anyone else`s child done this?
