what are your expierences on the mini pill? i am considering getting on it and would like to know both the good and bad about it thanks

aimzapanda - 1148 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was on the mini pill and now im here! I'm not one of those idiots who forgets to take it either! Different women have different experiences though so give it a go if you want to. Be warned though that you have to take it pretty much at the same time every day or things start to go wrong! Good luck!

riknlee - 1149 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My experience with the pill a few years ago was dreadful. I felt so not myself and was as close to depressed as I have ever been. I would stay in the shower and not want to get out. I didnt want to get up in the morning and I didnt want to do housework or cook or anything. when I worked out that is what it was I threw them in the bin.

wwatters18 - 1149 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) im on the mini pill. i had my baby 12 weeks ago today. i got on it at my 6 week check up and i bled for 7 weeks after having my baby, the dr. said i bled longer because of getting on the mini pill, but now i havn't bled since then. i am pumping every 4 hours. i dont notice any cramps. i think i like it, i guess

Bienks - 1149 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm on the mini pill now, it works great I have less cramps when I get my period and no pms, I did breastfed my boy till 3 months (not enough milk long story) till my milk dried he is now 4 months and I'm still on the mini pill, my doc didn't tell me to change I don't want to as it doesn't give me the side effects of the regular pill, if I do fall pregnant on it it wouldn't be a train smash as I do want another little one, I'll stay on it untill me and hubby are ready to conceve again.

My Dr did tell me that the effectiveness is less than a regular birth control method, so backup protection is key. After I finished nursing I had to switch right away because it didnt regulate my period and it wasn't as good as reg pills.

MomOfAlmost3AtHome - 1149 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The mini pill is also known as a breast feeding pill right? Just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing. I loved the mini pill and the peace of mind it gave me. I was on it after both of my children. It worked just great! I nursed both of my children for a year and had not issue. The only thing my doctor really warned it that as soon as you are finished nursing you need to switch to a regular pill. I also did get a period when my children were about 9 months old. Yet, I had the protection I wanted.
