What is a level 2 sonogram??. I have to get one done January 22, 2009.

I laid on that bed for about an hour while she was getting all of the measurements and stuff, I also found out I was having a boy! But he wasn't fully co-operative, she didn't get to look at his spine, so I go back next Thursday to make sure there are no defects. But it's great, they really take their time with everything... Enjoy it because you probably wont get to see your LO for such a long period of time until you have it! Good Luck, I hope everything goes well and the baby is healthy!!

They take a good long while and measure all the baby's parts and you will get to see your little one's heart beating - all four chambers - and they measure stuff like her leg bones and arm bones and make sure everything looks like it should. Remember to bring a tape if they allow you to videotape it. I forgot mine. You also, obviously find out the gender if the baby is cooperative.
