I had a c/s 6 days ago and I have been having vaginal pains.

I had a c/s w/ my 1st and don`t remember this pain. The pain is sharp shoot pains in my vagina. I also don`t think I am bleeding. I bleed longer w/ my 1st too. I just don`t see why I am having pains down there when it was a c/s w/ no actual labor. Any other girls that had a c/s have this same pain is it normal?

ragtopgirl - 1133 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it sounds normal. I had terrible pains in the vagina and rectum. So bad i didn't think it would pass. This was for a couple of weeks after the c-section. My dr. said that if you go through labor and then have a c-section your body had the same trauma as a vaginal birth. except for the actual delivery and tearing (....ouch) But if you did the labor and it sounds like you did , this is normal. selenia - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had a c section after being induced for 35 hours and had my water broken and i had no pain, execept where the c section incison is. best bet is to call your doctor to be rechecked
