Okay... Dreft is EXPENSIVE!! What other detergents can I buy and use to wash all of babies clothes in?

ragtopgirl - 1132 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i used the target knock off of dreft for the first few months and now I use the kirkland brand from Costco for all our cloths. No problems to date!

harpchick - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Arm & Hammer makes a baking-soda based laundry soap, I believe. Worth checking into as baking soda is a great cleaner (especially on whites) and is safe.

shelley75 - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) purex baby or Tide Free

lisamarie8503 - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I use the same detergent that I wash our clothes in. If they do not have a reaction to it, there is no reason to use seperate detergents. It saves time and money!

amber325 - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I tried the free and clear brands...they do not wash as well. The clothes were gray and still smelled. I gave up on them I use my normal cheer that I use on all our clothes and just do an extra rinse. The clothes are clean and have a good scent.

ashley2909 - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I just bought some All: Free&Clear the other day. I got a big bottle I think 96 loads or so for $11 something. I'm also sure if you look around at stores whom have huge varieties, you'll find ones which are even cheaper. Like say Wal Mart or big department stores like that:]]

jaydsmom - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Purex Baby Soft is not very expensive.

katiemul - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i can never find dreft! so i use detergent sensitive skin, thats organic, and scentless for baby clothes. u can find lots of generic brands like this :)

RobinG - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I use regular soap and add an extra rinse, I only buy the good stuff when a skin issues shows up :) I use the good stuff the first wash only ~ :) I also wash in perioxide and water too, does wonders! It is much better then bleach :)

spencerbaby1 - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i just bought the no-name baby detergent. i think its called baby soft or something.

julieandbaby - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I will try baby purex.

JocelynM1054 - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Get ALL unscented. The reason you are supposed to use dreft is because it doesn't have all of the additives that can be harsh on little baby skin. All is so much cheaper and the same darn thing. It also does a fabulous job.

dawnispregz - 1134 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) in the beginning i used the high brands, i was using normal daz,and ariel, persil etc and nice fabric conditioner-lenor. But now with the economy and money being tight i have changed to a cheaper brand in a massive box so more economical money wise.its a shops own brand-think its called Cyclon, i dont mind doing that as the active cleaning agents are the same in every washing powder, but i have kept the same fabric conditioner.Im lucky that my child i doesnt have any skin allergies. Obv if your child does then that may restrict you more
