Could be the beginning of teething. When they start teething they have alot of acid in the saliva. The salive goes though the system and is si acidic that they break out with a bad diaper rash Some times they get a rash on the mouth and chin too. This is normal during teething. The best thing for a bad diaper rash is a soak in the tub and dont use wipes! Use a warm wash clothe instead for a couple of days. this will clear it right up. Also, try and make sure that you use 40% zinc ozide. Most only have 11 to 16%. Targets brand of cream has a 40% zinc oxide!!!! And the stuff works like magic! I break that out when we have a problem thats needs big help. I diluted the apple juice 3 to 1. So most of it was water. Hope this helps!

I would say after you let the rash clear try a different juice, she may be allergic. I have used vaseling for my babies rashes and honsetly it is the best it clears in a day. The white think creamy onitments can irritate the skin more, especially if they are going number two alot. Goodluck I hope you find a juice that works for her.

Thanks for the replies, we decided to stop the juice for a while. She hasnt had diarreah. All we gave her was some Baby Apple Juice and we had diluted it well too, but apparently she couldnt handle it yet so rather than see her keep getting rashes (this is the first one she has EVER had since birth) we are not going to chance the juice again.

To add... Not only is juice acidic but depending on the type of juice it can cause constipation or diarrhea. Both of which can lead to diaper rash. My son had very bad diaper rash when he was little b/c of the constant antibiotics that he was on. The best thing i found for it was 'butt paste'. You can find it at walmart, target and most groceries.

Juice is VERY acidic even when watered down. To clear it up and avoid it going forward if you are going to continue giving juice, try Triple Paste. It is like GOLD! It helps clear diaper rash up in a day or two. My daughter gets the worst diaper rash...like open sores, and it is the ONLY thing that keeps her butt protected.

It could also be an allergy to the juice. I would recomend stopping until her bum clears up then re-introduce it a little at a time and see if the rash comes back.
