cervical cerclage

I am 7 weeks pregnant and I am considered high risk. They are talking about doing a cervical cerclage and I`m a little scared can anyway give me feed back if they had this done what to expect etc. I am also on blood thinners

wishforowens - 1130 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm very high risk too. I had a cerclage done with my last pregnancy (emergency cerclage) at 20 weeks. But I was already in the hospital on bedrest. Lots of complications. But, I delivered a beautiful 3lb 10oz boy at 28 weeks! I'm now pregnant agiain (18 weeks) and go in for a routine cerclage on Tuesday. Purely preventative, no complications yet, yeah! From what I have heard it is very benificial, and we will do whatever it takes to make sure our babies are safe, right? Good luck!
