How long do we have to wait following a c-section and what about masterbation?? Is it a penetration thing or what?? Does anyone know? I need a little action...

harpchick - 1118 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My doc phrased it not as "no sex" but as "pelvic rest" for six full weeks, which indicates nothing should enter the pelvic region. What happens on the outside is a whole different thing :) They just don't want you risking internal infection by introducing things into the vagina. You should also avoid anything too strenuous-- remember that your uterus takes a while to heal from the incision and you can exacerbate bleeding or prolong your healing if you jostle the uterus around too much.

In reality, you should be careful and if your incision looks closed and not leaking, you can go ahead. Make sure everything is clean first! i advise making sure your partner is washed up to avoid introducing you to yeast infections during this initial period of healing. You can masterbate if you want too.

jen - 1120 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Although advised to wait 6 weeks, we did it at 2 weeks. We were very careful and if I was uncomfortable he stopped or slowed down. Just be very careful and take it slow.
