I have had really bad Anxiety for a long time i finally went to the Dr and she prescribed me Loxamine which is an antidepressent used to treat a number of disorders. Has anyone ever taken this drug? and or any other Anxiety/depression meds? How did you find them? Did they help?

happyforest - 1102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had problems getting the right medicine for my anxiety. for some reason they kept wanting to give me antidepressants, which made it worse bc i wasnt depressed! finally i switched doctors and got on Ativan (lorazepam) and it is ANTI-ANXIETY and helps me so so so much. you dont have to take it everyday or let it build up in your system or anything. you can just take it when you start to feel anxiety and it will relax and calm u down almost automatically! however if you are pregnant or breastfeeding you cant take it.

lovinlife - 1102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I also took Zoloft before becomming pregnant, but I was prescribed it for stress. Once I found out I was pregnant, i stopped taking it because I didn't want to risk anything.

secondandexcited - 1102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Same as ladybug...I take a low dose of zoloft and doctor said it's perfectly fine for the baby. Don't get discouraged if one medication doesn't work for you...chances are another one will. That's why there are so many of them out there, because everone's body is different. Good luck to you!

ladybugtricia - 1103 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi..I suffer as well..I take Zoloft..I had been on it before being pregnant..they just lowered the dosage..which still helps..but with your body changing with the pregnacy..well I have my ups and downs..but it beats going without the med..which I tried and didnt do well at all..good luck..hope this helped
