hi girls, so my dh did not want to find out the sex at our 20 weeks app., but today I went by myself for another u/s and was told the report from last u/s said it is a girl,the tech today checked the baby and said girl, and then the doctor confirmed it again. So can I start buying pink?

jq baby - 1087 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) don't do it!!!!! I did not want to know the sex of our child. My SO did so at the ultrasound I turned my head and he knew the sex of the child. People knew around me but we were having the shower after the baby was born so I would be surprised. my SO told friends and me at a dinner party. I was pissed!!!!! I felt disrespected and was upset for a few days. I wanted a healthy baby and wanted it to be a surprise. You don't know how he feels about it-- you may be killing his joy. I love my baby girl regardless but please don't kill his joy!

lucijas77 - 1090 days ago thank you, i will leave the surprise for him, the first big excitement left me, i mean i am so so so happy, but it feels like i will somehow manage to hold the secret for another 17 weeks

lucijas77 - 1090 days ago i am not sure if I tell him, but i know he did not want to find out because he was "afraid" it will be a boy. he always wanted a girl even before he had his other two sons from prev. mar. He never found out cause he was hoping for a girl til the last moment
