windchime - 1081 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got the impression from one of your answers that you are a Christian. Have you read any Frank Peretti books? They're great! I'd start with This Present Darkness. I second the recs for Harry Potter and Memoirs of a Geisha. Also liked Wicked, Ella Minnow Pea, and classics like To Kill a Mockingbird and Catcher in the Rye.

My sister just got "Letters for Jordan" and he likes it a lot. It's a journal a dad wrote his son before going off to war, and while he was in Iraq...ironically he was killed...true story

I am an Aussie, so my sense of humor may be a little different:) The first sentence: I was a 43 year old mother of 2 when I lost my orgasm. How can you lose an orgasm, you may ask. What is it, as sock? Is it in some sexual laundry basket waiting to be paired so it can become a multiple orgasm?" Kathy has a very dry sense of humor, and i loved this book!
