Me and the most of the time(lovely)bf were talking about when I should stop working. He mentioned that March 24th seems like a really good day to him to stop. I said that sounds ok but we need the money so I was thinking Around the 2nd week of April. He really thinks March 24th would be better so I could get off my feet and try to prepare my self mentally for the baby and it would save us money for before and afrer school for his 5 year old so Jakob. I told him I wanted to work to April because of money but he said that we would be fine. Now my thing is what would you do? Im sorry if this is long and kind of confuseing but I really need some op`s on this. Thanks in advance(also sorry if there is spelling errors m super tired as ALWAYS.

i worked till about 33weeks(gave birth exactly 38) and i was on crutches and everything as i had SPD. so i only had 5 weeks off, but i can see both sides of the issue, you do need to do your budget, incomings/outgoings and the things you need to buy, pram/cot etc. if you can work and its not a stressful job then i would say do it - being at home as lovely as it is to begin with can really do ya box in !!Daytime tv gets ya down ! Lol. If you are not well with ya pregnancy then i would suggest trying to go earlier. Some women work right up to the day their waters burst because they dont know they are preggers and some like me know all the way thru and have to finish ealrier than wanted. So its all physical/mental health down to you.

Your BF sounds lovely! Seriously though, Lizette had a great idea, sit down together and figure out a budget. If you can afford to stop working a lil bit earlier, and you want to. Then do so. But if there's no real reason for you to stop working and you want to keep going, then explain it to him. Say to him that you'd like to save up a bit of extra to help when bubs arrives. I'm having my 5th kid and even though I've been there done that a few times, it always shocks me just how much the wee tikes can cost in the first few weeks.

If your not having any issues with the pregnancy and the doctors say its ok to work, I'd work as long as I possibly could. I was told at about 33 weeks I could no longer work. But it's really a decision between you and your boyfriend....if you can financially afford it or not. Plus they say if your more active and work till the end your labor isn't as bad, i don't know how true that is....but I'd rather work....it gets soo boring just sitting home for 2 months before the baby arrives, trust me lol.... Good Luck!!

Sounds like your man is trying to take care of you and is not concerned about the money. Let him take the lead as provider and stop working when he wants you to. Enjoy !
