Ugh...I have known I`ve had it since I was pregnant with my frist. Then I had her and they did a colosp. and they said I was good, then I was preggo again...AND NOW they find cancerous cells...fudge...how am i suppose to feel? They could see it on my cervix doing a regular PAP that`s not goood!!!!!!!!

The doc told me that currently they just have to keep and eye on it and do a pap every trimester to ensure things dont advance. When they did the colposcopy on me the dr said that if I wasnt pregnant they would deffinatly need to take a biopsy because he could clearly see things that were not right on me.

voncoco - 1074 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) listen do not panic... I have stage one cells in my cervix they have been there for over 3 years (at which point they could see them - like you say) I neglected to deal with it before getting pregnant. what they do is check you regularly (every 12 weeks) through out your pregnancy to make sure they do not advance too quickly, and then after baby is born (6 weeks) hey wil remove them. I go for my final check on Tuesday, and then wait for baby to come. After that I will deal with it finally. This is my second time about 6 yrs. Hopefully they get all the cells this time!!!! Good luck.

happyforest - 1074 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had an abnormal pap and colposcopy too but luckily the cells havent advanced to cancer...but i do worry about it a lot! especially since my insurance runs out in june and i dont know how i will afford to be checked all the time. the hpv that causes warts and the hpv that causes cervical cancer are two different strains....i have never had a wart so therefore i had no idea that i even had hpv until my pap while i was pregnant!

hessfamily - 1075 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have this also and never ever had an outbreak untill I fell pg and now I cant get rid of the lil bastards... I got it from a guy I was with for 3 years, my way of finding out he was a cheater... I wish you good luck!!! Everything should be ok. I had cancerous cells before I found out that I was pg. They froze them and have been fine since... But now is when I get stupid little warts GRR... 4years later...

brendalee - 1075 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They told me the same thing, they also said since I was under 21 and because I was pregnant that those we're the results they expected back. Cancer runs in my family though, so they we're planning on digging deeper into what they found. But they said under normal circumstances getting results like that are typical.

mandyd829 - 1075 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I freaking hate HPV. Because of my immaturity and stupidity i got it many many years ago. it has seriously affected my life. i had such a hard time telling my hubby about it. and to this day it still has me worried and paranoid. Luckily i dealt with it back then and have not seen an outbreak since but knowing you have it is a real bitch.
