How long did it take you to get pregnant and to get your BFP?

I`m just wondering how long it took for those of you TTC to get pregnant, and I`m speaking about those who don`t have fertility issues (we don`t as far as I know), Also.. How long did it take for ppl to get their BFP? I`m asking because DH and I are TTC #2, and our baby boy is 7months old right now. I dont want to hear about how we should wait. lol, It was a personal decision between the two of us. AF is due in 2 days, and my BB`s are swollen up and I`ve had more of an appetite. Typically if I get PMS my appetite dissapears or decreases, and my bb`s may get sore but they don`t swell up. With TJ it took 2 days after my missed AF to get my BFP. Also my BB`s swelled up by week 5 with him... I`ve heard that symptoms usually appear quicker after the first pregnancy. We`re excited and nervous because we`d LOVE to be able to suprise my dad with the news (we go to Oklahoma next wednesday)

Kell310 - 1073 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I stopped BC in July and we started ttc in September. I got BFP in November so it only took 2 months. I took a preg. test before AF was expected and got 3 faint positives and MD confirmed it at 3 weeks 3 days PG. So good luck!

sarahann - 1075 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) We started ttc #2 when our first was 10 months old (I would've liked to try sooner). It took us 5 months to get pregnant. I didn't have any symptoms at all, and only got a BFP after af didn't show up (I had tested before then and got a BFN). The months I think I have symptoms of pregnancy, I'm not. When I am preg, I don't get symptoms! Sorry, this probably isn't helping you! Don't let anyone tell you to wait longer before trying, it's your decision. Good luck!

FshnLvr6 - 1075 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi Cindie, I went off birth control (that I had been on for about 6 years) in August. We found out we were pregnant at the end of December. So it only took us about 5 months. However, I was tracking my temperature and using an ovulation kit. I would really recommend the ovulation kit! My cycle was about 40 days long so we found out about a week before my missed period. I took a home preg test and the second line was faint but there. I just kept taking tests everyday until the line was darker. I think it's great that you are trying for another while your son is young! That's what we plan to do as well. Good luck!!

last.one.for.me - 1075 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It took 9 months for us... I had JUST ordered a bunch of OPKs and HPTs for the month we discovered I was pregnant - AND it was a month where we got kinda lazy and were having a rest from the previous 8 months and just taking things easy :]

LizetteCheree - 1075 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) WELL WE TRIED FOR 3 MONTHS.I USED CLEARBLUE OVULATION TESTS AND WE BDED ON THE MOST FERTILE PERIOD.BUT NOTHING.THEN WE WENT ON HOLIDAY,I DIDNT TEST AND TOTALY FORGOT BOUT GETTING PREGNANT THEN WHAM BAM IT HAPPENED.AS WE WERENT TRYING I DIDNT NOTICE THAT I MISSED MY PERIOD AND WHEN I EVENTUALY NOTICED I WAS ALREADY 7 WEEKS PREGNANT.I DO HOPE UR PREGNANT THOUGH:-)

kirra82 - 1075 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got pregnant both times on the second month, although to be honest both times on the first month we didnt really BD that much.... 1st pregnacy I got a BFP 4 days before AF was due using a First Response, it would have been 10 DPO.... 2nd time I got a BFP on the day AF was due, also 10 DPO because my Luteal Phase has changed... So really both times I was 10 DPO :)
