I heard some people say your find the gender at 16 while others did not until 20? What`s the earliest you can find out?

ready4princessLaila - 376 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) well technically if you have a good dr. you can find out earlier at like 14 WKS most wait till 20 WKS but i went at 18 i couldn't wait until 20 and we found out she's a girl!!! to be safe wait till can't 17 or 18WKS good luck!!!

JuliMomOf4 - 377 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I always find out at my 20 week US check up. Altho with my 4th they could tell at 16 weeks. Hell even I could. Couldn't see the penis but he had very large testicles lol! The tech did say that they could be swollen labia but that she HIGHLY doubted it. We had it confirmed again about 10 weeks later.

daydays mom - 377 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i didnt find out til 30wks. thats because my lil girl was shy. but u usually find out @ your 20wk check up thats usually when its clear. @ 16 wks all a doctor can do is guess. i wouldnt trust @ 16 wks unless its got the biggest most odivious penis then id trust it but you cant really tell that early!

RobinG - 377 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Really depends on the doc and office you go to ~ I was high risk and went to a perintologist (they are for high risk) and I was told by my SIl who works there as a RN as well as the techs on two occassion that they will not tell you til 18 weeks. Even if they can tell some what prior to that. There is risk of innaccuracy and they will not chance it prior to 18 weeks. So really depends ~ the earliest you can find out is when your doc is willing to tell you and when it is considered most accurate.
