is it ok to get a tattoo while brest feeding?

last.one.for.me - 1071 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hmm, I personally wouldn't risk it, if the tattoo becomes infected or risk of transmission of things such as HIV. Of course I presume you'd be going somewhere reputable, BUT, there's still always that chance. It's the same as getting a tattoo or piercing during pregnancy, while the risks might be slightly minimised because of breastfeeding, they are most definitely still there. I would wait.. tattoos are for life (which I'm sure you know) so you'll have PLENTY of time to enjoy your new addition to your body after you've finished nursing th enew addition to your family :] x
