Hey all I am 36weeks preggers and have been having the itchiest skin ever for a few days.. any one else?? any ideas on relief?

::Isaac::Gabby::Amber - 1071 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hopefully its not what I developed. The pupps rash. Only a certain amount of women get it. 70 percent I believe of those women are having boys and 30 percent girls. I had my girl, so i was the lucky one. Have you ever had poision ivy, or the chicken pox. Well try doubling that annoying itchy painful skin. I had Lepord skin. If you want to look at some pictures of mine. I will put a picture of what it looked like. It was completely horrible. It gave me the worse stretch marks and the worse red itchy EVER! I couldnt believe HOW PAINFUL the itch was. You could itch it, but then you would have to itch it until it was satisfied, to the point it was bleeding still no satisfaction. Then when you stop itching it hurt soooo bad with this stinging pain. It was bad very bad. Lets hope that you dont develop that. I delevloped it at 35 weeks and the only cure is birth. So i had to wait about 5 more weeks with that. No induction. They wanted the baby to be as healthy but I was in the worst stress. I would of induced my self. But I was lucky, I ended up turning my body completly pink in a bath of caladryl totally burning my skin. To this day my skin is scarred for ever, dry as always, and I will never ever ever where another reveling shirt or shorts again. I live in arizona and its HOTTER THEN ANYTHING OUT HERE. Go check out the pictures. I hope and pray taht you dont indure the pain i had .. GOod luck!

first-time-momy - 1071 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) sorry that you are having itchy skin. my daugher is 12 months old and when I was pregnant, I was the same as you. I saw doctors and they did said you should hang in there. this is the part of the pregnancy. I was up all nights and could not sleep because of the itchy skin I had. but after delivery they went away. So I am sorry but I think there is nothing we can do. it will be over by 4 more weeks. good luck.

luvbeingamom - 1071 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Do you have a rash of any kind too? If it is just dry and itchy (No Rash) try an oatmeal bath and olay quench lotion. If it is a rash, go to your doc!
