i feel like baby is not moving?

so i am 38 weeks pregnant. i am so use to feeling owen move and since like yesterday i have noticed that he isn`t moving nearly as often. i was counting and he only move like 3 times in 2 hours...it says that if you don`t feel them at least 10 times in 2 hours to call the doctor and go in...when i asked my mom and friend they both said i was fine and that he is just getting ready to come out. i am still worried though what should i do?

bibi hussain - 1062 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I hope by now you've done to ur doc or to l&d ... I had the same problem a lil over 3 weeks ago when I went in my baby girl had no heartbeat. If u haven't gone please go and be careful. I would hate to see anyone go through the pain of losin there little one. I was 39 weeks

olga777 - 1062 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My doctor says if I don't feel my baby move much I should drink some sugar water and sit or lie down. It always works for me. But the last 4 weeks the baby usually does not move much, just poke and stretch here and there. My doctor says I should feel about 4 of those pokes in 1 hour.

I have a family history of losing fetal movement in the last few weeks of pregnancy and have been induced asap because of my mother was 42 weeks and my sister was stillborn (have a young mum). i dont mean to worry you but please be safe than sorry. twins!! - 1063 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was told if didnt feel them to eat something and lay on my left side and if i still didnt feel em much to call my doctor or go to l&D.. dont know if that is just with twins and im 31 weeks but try to eat and see if that gets him moving.

delarla - 1063 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think it's normal too. The baby is just getting so big now and getting ready to come. Also are you moving around a lot? That might have something to do with it. But if it still worries you just call your doc and see what they say. It cant hurt right? Plus it will give you peace of mind!

mamalvs4 - 1063 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) if you are worried, call the doctor if anything it may cause you to relax a little just hearing them say its normal, i would have to agree im sure its normal as you get closer to you due date, they do stop moving as much, basically because they are running out of room LOL but i totally understand it making you worry:) good luck

But I'm sure your mom is right, he is so tight inside of you at this point that he dosen't have a lot of room to move around and maybe he is just in a comfortable position. I'm sure everything is fine. good luck

my4kids - 1063 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i will be 39 wks monday when i have my cesarean i was just at the hospital last week becuase my son did not move from 8 the night before till 4 when i was at the hospital hooked up and they told me ten times an hour ha ha ha ok well then i was told 4 times an hour by somebody then i was told 6 times for at least 1 hour during the day is ok. My son doesn't move much but eating sweet stuff , drinking stuff with caffiene works to get them moving plus moving his lil butt with your hand pushing him around will make him mad enough to move and kick lol. Also they say lay on your right side for an hour then do your left side an hour and they will start moving .I talk to my son through out the day though and he loves it gets him moving his lil body against my hand every time.
