How about some water or diluted juice? That usually "keeps" pretty well... She looks old enough to go without milk for a little while if you're out-n-about... SUCH a cutie!

Many babies who go from formula or breast milk to cows milk STILL neeed it room temp before drinking it ~ there have been a few Q&A's on this and many say the same, let it get to be room temp or warm it a bit first. Ever drink 4-8 oz straight without taking a break? Its very cold and not always easy to do ~ when I go out I just fill the bottle and put in diaper bag without iceing it takes a while to get to room temp allowing plenty of time to be unrefrigerated, no differnt then taking it out of cooler at store and leaving it in shopping cart then driving home with it ~ it is out a while before getting back into fridge and it is fine.

If she likes it cold, it is fine to serve that way. My daughter didn't really like the milk cold, and was a picky eater. I found a product called Nido, made by Nestle. It is a powdered milk for kids over a year old. There are some added vitamins and whatnot that regular milk doesn't have. They sell it at Wal-mart and it is usually in the section that has hispanic foods. It's great also because, you can take it with you like formula and mix it up without worrying about keeping it cold. The other thing I loved about it was the reasonable price. I can't remember how much a can of it made, but I worked it out once and it was cheaper than buying the equivalent amount of regular milk. If you do just stick to regular milk you'll need to invest in a thermos, or insulated lunch box and ice packs!! ;)
